Why Duro-Last® membranes?

All of Duro-Last’s membranes are made of a layer of PVC film on the bottom and the top. This PVC film is created from a proprietary thermoplastic of plasticizers, biocides, flame retardants, UV inhibitors, stabilizers and resins. These membranes are laminated on both sides of their strong,weft-inserted polyester reinforced scrim.

Installation

  • Mechanically fastened: Duro-Last® may be mechanically fastened to a wide array of materials and roof decks.
  • Adhered: It can be adhered to a variety of roof decks, coverboards, walls and insulations which include: concrete, Duro-Guard DensDeck® Prime Roof Board, Duro-Guard® ISO, Duro-Guard SECUROCK®, DEXcell® Roof Board and Gypsum-Fiber Roof Board products.
  • Duro-Bond® Induction Welding System: Duro-Last® allows for reduced fasteners, quicker installation and reduced air intrusion.

Accessories

Duro-Last® is unique from the rest of the roofing industry because of its custom prefabrication systems. Rooftop labor time is drastically reduced with these Time off the Roof™ solutions. Duro-Last’s prefabricated flashings and accessories also address the critical transition areas of a roof leading to a low-maintenance solution long term. Accessories are prefabricated from 40 or 50 mil membrane and come in a variety of colors.
